Pricing

Unit Rates
Tejas Underground Utilities prices work based on project scope, soil conditions, and utility type rather than flat, one-size-fits-all numbers. For most commercial and site utility packages, we provide detailed unit-rate proposals that break out costs by linear foot of pipe, utility size and material, structure count, and depth. Where conditions or quantities are variable, we commonly work on a time-and-materials basis with agreed labor, equipment, and material rates, backed by daily field tickets for transparency. For competitive bid projects, we respond to full plan-and-spec packages, attend pre-bid meetings when requested, and submit complete, line-item proposals that align with your bid forms so you can plug our numbers directly into your estimate.

T&M Service
Our pricing approach is designed to match how general contractors and developers buy underground work. We build estimates from the ground up using unit rates for excavation, bedding, backfill, utilities, and structures, with clear assumptions and inclusions noted up front. When unknowns exist—such as rock, groundwater, or existing utility conflicts—we typically structure those portions as time-and-materials with preapproved rates, so you maintain control of budget exposure. For negotiated and design-assist projects, we can provide budget pricing at early design, then convert to a fixed-scope, unit-rate or lump-sum proposal as plans are finalized, supporting your scheduling and financial requirements throughout the process.
